My artwork is a projection of my personality, energetic,spontaneous, and full of life and passion.  Every painting, like every day, is new and excititing to me.  I see the world as bright and hopeful and I try to portray this though my work.

    I  love the process of art and rejoice in every medium I work with, be it oils, pastel, clay or any other material that will help to translate my idea.  I walk around with a camera taking pictures of interesting people, places, and animals; then paint them.

    Marie Fowler writes:  "Nancy Freeman Tabas, on view at the Tyme Gallery through Aug 5, transports the viewer to mountain lakes, shady glens and breezy seashores.  Tabas, like French Impressionist master Claude Monet, appears to explore the motif under different conditions of light and/or seasons. The Haverford painter describes her landscapes as "realistic abstractions."

    Come visit my work at the Tyme Gallery in Havertown and at Alantic Books in Beach Haven for the month of August.  I also have work on display at the Sherman Mills Gallery on Scotts Lane in Philadelphia look for building #32. In July my work was at the Tyme Gallery in Havertown for an ArtSisters group show my painting Lily Pond sold at the show. 

    Post is coming up on October 4 and 5.  My studio is open to the public come join me.  I also am showing work in the Main Line Mile for the month of September I will be in a storefront in Ardmore.
